Yes, we've been in the spotlight again! Number one sounds real good but not with this kind of category. NAIA ranked first in the list of worst Airports around the world. From the disgraceful 5th place to 1st? As usual, the previous corrupt assigned officials will be the one to blame; and I guess they should be. What are the NAIA people trying to prove? They can't say Filipinos should not expect more because Pinoys do pay taxes and its their job to utilize and return the favor of showing where the citizens' money are going to.
The Philippines has been left behind by the countries that surround us, neighboring countries. Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. They all have airports that the foreign and local tourists would love. Awesome facilities, accommodating staff, good security system, and many more. How I wish there would be an overhaul make-over for NAIA. Tss.
We can't run away from the truth, we're number one.. so maybe the least we can do is be proud of it. Sarcasm, I know.. but it will truly take ages before we could be Number 1 in the list of "world's most beautiful airports".
